Robert Hessler has been applying proprietary crystalline glaze recipes on his hand-thrown porcelain forms for nearly 25 years. Each piece is a result of chemistry, precision, experimentation and happy accidents. The ranging colors occur from varying amounts of cobalt, zinc, iron, silver, and tin oxides.
