Fort Standard is a design studio and manufacturer based in Brooklyn, New York that originated in 2011. Founder Gregory Buntain fuses his training as an industrial designer with his appreciation for traditional craft and quality, creating furniture and interior accents for contemporary homes.

One-of-a-kind, durable, and crafted for everyday use, Gary Bodker creates functional glass essentials. Originally from New Jersey, the artist graduated from Rhode Island School of Design in 2009 and later relocated to Portland, Oregon, where his studio is currently based. Bodker’s simple yet refined hand-blown glass objects reflect his intention to find beauty in the small moments, from giving a dear friend a treasured housewarming gift to gathering around the table with loved ones to share a meal. Each one of his designs is as unique as the memories made with them.

Founded during the Meiji era of Japan, which ranged from 1868-1912, Kamasada Studio is a distinguished maker of Nambu Tekki, traditional Japanese ironware. Their workshop is currently based in the Iwate Prefecture and is led by third-generation master craftsman Nobohu Miya.

Though they preserve passed down production methods, they create home accessories for a new generation. Kamasada Studio’s ironware stands out for its contemporary design and functionality, as well as its dedication to honor history.

Marge Lurie has been throwing one-of-a-kind ceramics in New York City since 2002.  Playing with different minimal forms and firing techniques, she creates timeless bowls and vases.

When Melissa Joy Manning started making jewelry in the early 90s, her designs soon attracted a following. Now, with one studio in California and another in New York, she has her own line inspired by a love of travel, art, and culture. All pieces are designed by the artist and hand-crafted one-at-a-time by an in-house team of artisans. Dedicated to producing as little waste as possible, they use recycled silver or gold for every item. 

As a trained jeweler, Manning honors traditional metalsmithing techniques by hand-building all of her jewelry. This master-craftsman touch gives each piece its own story and slightly different characteristic.

Mondays is a line of organic ceramic vessels made by Jennifer Fiore and Nina Lalli, two friends that met in a Monday night ceramics class. Each product is handmade in their Brooklyn studio, resulting in shapes, colors, and textures that are one of a kind.

N + A is a finely crafted handmade jewelry line based in New York City. Founders and sisters Noriko and Akiko Sugawara create organic forms with a minimalistic approach. The two make their jewelry using hand carved castings, resulting in fine detail and texture.

Pat Kim is a designer and woodworker educated in New York and Germany. He is now based in Redhook, Brooklyn. Pat's reverence for wood often leads him to work with repurposed wood. He is formerly trained in high-end furniture fabrication and toy design. Pat draws on both experiences, making timeless pieces that combine traditional craft techniques with a playful, modern aesthetic.

Founded in 1932, Sugahara is a glassware company from Japan.
